GUN BARREL TANKS

Waterford Tank’s Gunbarrel tanks are an economical and low maintenance method to treat oil when properly applied. These tanks are an excellent choice when adequate separation of oil and water is required and uses atmospheric pressure, gravitational force and retention time. Production fluids enter the inlet down-comer section at the top of the tank. Solution gas is vented from the top of the flume and directed to a vapor recovery system or vapor combustion tower.

Waterford Tank’s Gunbarrel tanks have down-comer pipe assembly up to 12” with support bracing, spreader table, water and oil outlets.  Waterford Tank’s Gunbarrel tanks come with fittings up to 6” NPT and flanged connections up to 12”, 24” x 36” cleanouts, 8” thief hatch, and optional 8” or 12” EPRV.  Waterford Tank manufactures Gunbarrel tanks ranging in size from 210BBL to 1000BBL.

Our customer base extends from the Permian Basin to the Appalachian Basin and have been used in salt water disposal facilities and midstream operations. 

A full range of accessories such as, ladders, hand rails, stairs, safety gates, platforms and catwalks are available for any size tank.  Our 28” wide stairs and catwalks meet the API 12F 13th Edition Standards.
